The prostitute can feel hard to work with simply because of her name. The name alone invokes a strong image and one that we might not want to see or admit we carry in ourselves. The prostitute often reveals to us her shadow side but she also carries gifts like all archetypes do. In her Shadow, she gives too much of herself at the expense of her soul. She starts to give away body parts, parts she needs for her own wholeness. But she gifts us with an experience of liberation and expression when she is integrated
